ABOUT OUR LOCATIONS
InnoLas Laser GmbH is headquartered in Krailling, near Munich, and is easily accessible by public transportation and via the nearby freeway. Our company relies on renewable energies: we use environmentally friendly district heating from a bioheating plant and electricity from our own photovoltaic system. This not only reduces our energy costs and charges our employees' electric vehicles, but also actively contributes to our sustainability goals.
In 2022, InnoLas Laser GmbH opened another production facility in Windorf near Passau, which has a direct motorway connection. The site was built according to the latest environmental standards and uses geothermal energy for heating and air conditioning. In addition, a high-performance photovoltaic system on the roof ensures a sustainable power supply for the building and the charging of company vehicles.

OBITUARY
Reinhard Kelnberger, † 12.03.2024Founder of Innolas GmbH
In 1995, he co-founded InnoLas GmbH with Richard Grundmüller and Andreas Behr. Under his leadership, the company developed into a recognized provider of laser beam sources for scientific and industrial applications, laser machines for marking and sorting semiconductor wafers, and laser systems for micro material processing. Reinhard was the initiator of this success story and took on the role of commercial managing director.
After the company was divided into three business units, he founded RKE Holding GmbH as sole managing director, under whose umbrella InnoLas Laser GmbH continues to operate successfully as a subsidiary – a success that Reinhard made possible to a large extent through his strategic and forward-looking leadership.
In 2015, he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, which caused his lungs to stiffen and required a lung transplant. At Christmas 2023, he also contracted COVID-19, which led to a series of secondary infections. Multiorgan and lung failure ultimately led to his death on March 12, 2024, at the age of 64.
Reinhard was a special person who touched many people with his keen sense of humor, warmth, friendliness, and modesty. As a successful entrepreneur, he impressed with his courage, vision and innovative strength. He was not only a boss for over 70 employees, but also a friend and mentor to many.
His life and actions have left a lasting impression, and he has made a significant contribution to the lives of many people. We will always honor his memory.
